What brought you to Green District?

I originally came to Green District after being with my previous concept for almost a decade.  I fell in love with the mission and mentality of the the business. It spoke to my heart the way they value their employees and the way they give back to their communities.

What is your go-to order at Green District?

What About Cobb, no tomato, add onion, black bean, and corn – tossed lightly with ranch and either BBQ or Sriracha.

How would you describe the culture of the Monument Circle restaurant?

Our culture downtown is one of fun and winning! We sell respect and freshness in every interaction. We’re here to build the future leaders of Green District in Indiana and to be the first piece of building our brand in a new market.

What is your favorite thing about managing your location?

I love being in downtown, where I spend a lot of days of my childhood and teens running around and growing up.  I am proud to being giving back to a community that gave me so much.

Have you ever waited on a famous person?

I’ve waited on many a famous person when I was working in Bloomington, Indiana.  The most memorable though was when I got to sit down with Quinn Bucker – IU Alum and Pacer Play-by-Play announcer.  He took the time to share a few stories of his time in Bloomington and truly loved getting to share his experience.  He ended up letting us get some photos with us and was more than accommodating!

What are some of your hobbies?

I enjoy taking my son out on hikes, we’ve got over 60 miles under our belts in just over a year together. I also live for going camping, canoeing, and boating with friends – I’m a few more parks away from visiting every state park in Indiana. I love going out to Colorado and Washington to go climbing each year, part of my hear belongs in the PNW.  I also enjoy singing and take any chance to get on a stage and joining old friends for Ultimate Frisbee gatherings/tourneys all over the Midwest.

What is your go-to coffee order?

Medium Roast with 2% milk

What excites you most about Green District?

The most exciting part of Green District is where we are headed! With a great leadership team and truly competitive company goals for the next 5 years, It is hard to fully grasp the depth of opportunity and growth that will be able to take place for myself and anybody else that gets involved with what we’re doing.
